Every teacher brings their own set of ideals, a set of worldviews, and their own personality into the classroom. For teachers it is not a one style fits all.
At CCS, we want teachers to bring their full selves into the classroom. When teachers operate from that passion of why they became a teacher to begin with, then students catch on and thrive.
Teaching styles vary. We have teachers that are more active and have a bigger personality, while some teachers may be a little more subdued. However, they connect with their students. And at the end of the day, that relationship building is what makes learning happen. Students do not learn from people they do not like.
We believe that first and foremost, a teacher needs to let those students know they are the most important thing and the reason that we are here. In the end, no matter the teaching style, it is about building relationships and connecting with their students.
