Clovis Christian Schools got its start as Chestnut Avenue Baptist Academy in the 1980s. The school was owned and operated by Sonrise Church. In the economic landscape of 2009, however, private schools often needed to restructure or close.
In 2014, Dr. Bonjorni and her husband were approached to purchase the school. After much time, thought, and prayer, they decided to take on the responsibility. The Bonjorni’s had a different vision for the school. They wanted to see it brought back to an elementary, middle and high school. They wanted a safe and engaging school families could bring all their children to, a place students could grow and thrive throughout their entire education.
We believe in family. That’s how we got started, and that’s what makes us strong and unique. Our goal is to provide students with a personalized, faith-based education.
