Focusing in class is a hot topic. Almost every parent has said, or had a teacher say to them, that their child was unfocused in class. When we hear parents say their child isn’t focused in class, there are several questions we need to ask.
Is your child bored with the material? Do they have a different learning style? Are they getting too tired of sitting at their desk? Not focusing does not necessarily mean a child is a “bad student”. “Unfocused” can mean many things, the solution is to find a way to get that child engaged in the material in a more meaningful way.
