We’ve been busy at Clovis Christian during the summer with all kinds of fun activities and academic opportunities to keep our students engaged, excited, and most of all, have a blast exploring.
Our students have had so much fun, and we want to share some of our activities with you.
Math Madness
Our students get to put on their Archeologist hats and “dig” into discovering more about hidden treasures! A fun experience where students are divided into grade-level groups and given the opportunity to practice their math skills.
Soccer
We also kicked off the summer with a soccer skills workshop where students work on drills, games, and exercises to power up their skills.
Writer’s Workshop
Writing is a process, and the best way to become a better writer is to simply write. That’s why our Writer’s Workshop exists. Students get to work on their writing and language skills with the goal of creating a finished book! Additionally, students practice spelling, grammar rules and learn beginning research skills.
Waterplay
Summer wouldn’t be complete without a beach party! Even though we’re a few hundred miles from the ocean, our students get to “dive” into an underwater wonder world of exploration and discover all the things the ocean has to offer…and even create a six-foot-tall volcano!
It’s been so fun to share some of these activities with you, and we have more planned, like art, painting, sculptures, round-up rodeo, camping, basketball, and volleyball, so stay tuned for more updates and enjoy the summer!
